Our Staff

Our teachers each bring a unique background to share in their love of teaching your children.

My name is Erin Dykes, and I’m pleased to say I have been working at St. Paul’s Preschool since 2008. I am thankful to have a position in such a nurturing and loving environment. In my 15 years here, I spent 11 years teaching in the Two Year Old classes, as well as being the school-wide floating assistant. In 2019 I accepted the role of Director, and I’m very proud to be continuing the time-honored traditions of St. Paul’s Preschool.

I am a married mother of three children. Our youngest son is in 8th grade, our daughter is a freshman at the University of Cincinnati, and our oldest son works as a skilled tradesman. All three are graduates of St. Paul’s, and I am as well! I was born and raised here in Louisville. I earned my B.A. from Bellarmine University with a major in English and minors in French and Philosophy. Prior to working at St. Paul’s, I worked for my family’s manufacturing business in Accounting/Logistics/Operations, and I have substituted in the JCPS system as well.

I enjoy cooking and baking, gardening, camping, and spending time with my family. I truly enjoy working with the children in our program as they begin and then continue what is often their first social and educational experience outside of their own homes. It is my privilege to earn the trust and friendship of the children and their families as we navigate each school year with new friends and new experiences.
