My name is Terra Vaughn, and I have worked at St. Paul’s Preschool for years. I began as a Three Year Old teacher in 2004, and then became the 5 Day Pre-K planning teacher. I eventually had my own children and stayed home for a few years with them, returning to St. Paul’s during the pandemic in 2020 as a teacher of a mixed-age class of Three-to-Five Year Olds. I was a St. Paul’s substitute for several years, and two years ago I re-joined the adventurous preschool world as a Co-Teacher of the T/Th Twos. I’ve been married to my husband James for 23 years, and our daughters, London and Ireland, are 14 and 15 years old. James and I both finished our college educations at U of L and decided to stay in Louisville after we married. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and James was a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Navy. He currently serves as the Pastor at our church. We love to travel, spend time with friends, and work as Bible class teachers. I enjoy helping children learn and grow, create opportunities for them to discover new things about their world, and to help them explore their interests. I love encouraging them to find out about their own abilities. I look forward to spending this new school year getting to know our new St. Paul’s families!
