Where are you on your spiritual journey? This is not a test, and there is no right or wrong answer. Just pause to take a deep breath and think about your spiritual journey–where you have been in the past, where you are today, and where you might be going.
With the inspiring thought of our diverse spiritual journeys in mind, we will gather for St. Paul’s family picnic on September 29, 2024, around noon after the 10:30 worship. We will begin our picnic with the dedication of the newly installed spiritual pathway and blessing on the recent upgrade of the playground and the memorial garden, all in the spirit of reflection and inspiration. We then eat, play, and laugh together.
Among any topic you can think of in the Bible stories, one consistent recurring concept is people’s spiritual journey. From the Old Testament to the New, we read countless records of people’s faith journeys from all walks of life. The journey emphasizes the process of getting there rather than the destination. We meet all kinds of people, as Jesus met a Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well when he sat down to take a break from his journey (John 4:6.) Our spiritual journey of faith never stops–from the children having fun in the playground to grown-ups discerning a new chapter in their spiritual path to the faithful departed resting in the memorial garden. We rejoice in our companionship as we share our lives in this borrowed time.
All are welcome. Bring your friends!
