Education for Ministry
EfM is a well-established unique four-year in-depth Christian education program offered by the University of South, Swanee. EfM equips you with not just Christian knowledge but teaches you how to utilize it to be a faithful disciple in the world. Year One is on the Old Testament; Year Two is the New Testament; Year Three is History of Christianity, and Year Four is theology. Students make the commitment a year at a time for 36 weekly sessions. Students from all years meet together on Thursday afternoon from 2-4 PM.
St Paul’s Place
St. Paul’s Place meets during the school year on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for children from 4-years-old through 5th grade. Older youth take a leadership role in the meetings. This time together offers a place for kids to make friends, learn, and have fun, all while growing in their relationship with God. Other undertakings include using the talents of the congregation to learn pottery, woodwork, leather work and cooking and more.
Parents can sign up by calling the church office. **If the Jefferson County Schools are closed due to the weather, St. Paul’s Place will also be cancelled.
Our Wednesday nights became a lively book discussion. Currently, we are reading Walk in Love : Episcopal Beliefs and Practices. We meet for an hour and a half from 7 pm in the parish hall. Even if you have not read the book, you are always welcome to our discussion group. Explore your faith with us!
