Liturgical Ministries

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, NRSV)

God has gifted each of us unique gifts and talents.  The beauty of these gifts and talents shines when all of them come together as One.  Liturgical ministries give us good training to prayerfully understand how to do just that.  We learn how to serve God and God’s people and not ourselves during worship.  People of all ages learn the leadership responsibilities and teamwork through Acolytes ministries; Altar Guild faithfully ensures the beauty of worship experiences like Mary and Martha, Greeters and Ushers welcome and guide people like a shepherd leading a flock; Lectors and Prayer leaders read the Scripture and lead us in prayers like God speaks to and hear us; Choirs demonstrate how many voices could come together and create a beautiful harmony.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35, NRSV).

Life is what happens when we live.  From the moment of birth to the time of departure and any place in between, we journey along with you on all walks of life.  The first thing you will notice as you walk into St. Paul’s is warmth and closeness. Jesus taught us to love God and one another.  That is what we do.

Buildings and Grounds

Buildings and Grounds

We at St Paul’s are blessed with a beautiful seven acre campus including a church preschool, large fenced playground, memorial garden, labyrinth, and ball field.  Keeping all this in tip-top shape requires a significant amount of work which we like to do as much as possible with volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the church as well as getting involved and make friends.  Everyone’s time and talent is always welcome and appreciated.
